My Digital Mojo...

As you all know, I LOVE the new My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up! (you will too!). Well, I was playing around with some digital card designs and this is what I came up with...

Then I discovered Mojo Monday Sketch 290...

What a perfect couple - it's a match made in digital/cyber heaven. (smiley face)

I also made this card for the lady who invited me to attend the BBFHS Heritage Fair.

Until next time,
Keep Stampin' (both digitally and physically)

Botany Bay Family History Society's Heritage Fair

As I blogged previously, I went to the Botany Bay Family History Society's Heritage Fair last Saturday and it was great! I find it very interesting looking into your past and finding out your family's origins.  I am still waiting for some new leads but I am hopeful.  I have packed away all of my display stuff and repacked what I borrowed and returned to its rightful owners.  I was also reminded that I didn't post photos of my stand so here are some photos...

.

I would like to thank my gorgeous Creative Assistant for helping me pack the car, unpack the car, lug all my stuff to the venue, set up and then do it all again in reverse...

I also made this card for my up-line Louise Sharp who lent me a whole heap of goodies and gave some  valuable advice.

Now I just need to make one for my SIL who was also very supportive and helped me immensely (by just "being there")  when I was CLEARLY out of my comfort zone - Thanks "AK" xx

On yer Bike!

Yay! I still have time to enter the CASology challenge...
I made this card (and two more similar in different coloured frames) to sell at the Heritage Fair yesterday. I think they are cute. I am totally loving the cloudy day embossing folder - I hope it comes back in the new annual catalogue...

Until next time, keep Stampin'

Om-brayered

Well, finally my house looks less like an episode of "Hoarders" and more like organised chaos! I went to the Botany Bay Family History Society's Heritage Fair yesterday and it was great! It is very interesting looking into your past and finding who your family is.  I got a few new leads and hopefully some of the catalogues I gave away will generate some leads also.  I have packed away all of my display stuff and repacked what I borrowed to return to its rightful owner
- thanks Lou Lou!

As well as preparing for the Fair I started thinking about my "Convention Swaps".  Somewhere among the heritage-y scrap booking and (total addiction to) MDS (I LOVE IT!!!!) I found some time to cut, stamp, emboss, die cut and measure ribbon for 100 card fronts - now I find out I need a full card too! Argh! oh well, what's one more?  All I need to do is finish hand cutting about 80 more boats then to the "assembly line"...

I'm joining JUGS this week for the "Ombre" technique

(love those nails!)

I've used the brayer to get the landscape I am quite happy with this card but I think I may have to you tube some brayering technique videos.

Keep Stampin'  I'm gonna see if I can make it in the CASology Challenge...
