Our Sketch

My Card
I realise the "star" can represent any shape,  I was going to use the Vespa from Today And Everyday but I just couldn't get it to look the way i pictured in my mind so I stuck with the good old star.

I like this colour combination of white, gold and pistachio, and I particularly like this design in the Gold Soiree designer series paper.
I have used the star framelits again (I really should get my own set!) and offset the white star underneath the gold to reflect the DSP design. I like the ease in which I created the gold border over the mini white star. It is really cute (& just the right size for my banner banter stamp set). The inner white star is filled with Crystal Effects - I love this product it creates an enamelled look to your projects but you can do lots of other stuff with it *If you google "crystal effects" PLEASE make sure you add "STAMPIN UP" to your search or you will get some extremely ghastly images!

Keep well and be kind to one another. Be sure to come back soon because our next Blog Hop is just around the corner...

Maree McIntosh is your next stop but if you get lost along the way, or a link doesn't work, it doesn’t matter because you will find the full blog hop line up in my side bar.

Pirate Owl

Hi! Late last year I attended a school market and was selling little owls that I cased from Shannon at Shanni Loves they are very cute and easy to make!  Well, one of my friends wanted one that was bigger and heavier to use as a door stop and NOT TOO GIRLY as she is the only girl in the household.
In the photo below you can see my girly pink hold all owl and her big brother, the pirate doorstop!

The pink one is filled with polly pellets and wadding to keep her falling over on my table and the big one has a 2 kilo bag of sand sewn inside along with pellets and wadding to give him shape and also to give it the weight required!

Keep crafting
Marlene xx
