Bloomin' Lovely

The Just us Girls challenge is a colour challenge this week. I just love all of the featured cushions in the inspiration pic, so I borrowed one of the designs for my card inspiration.

Love that cushion in the middle.
I used Pink Pirouette, Night of Navy and instead of the beigey colour I substituted Very Vanilla

I have just come across an other challenge blog called
their challenge is

Pink /Lilac and / or Butterflies

so I have entered that challenge also!

This is the card I made for my friends birthday, she is worried about getting old???
I told her "it's better than the alternative"
(ie NOT having Birthdays...)

Anyway I hope she likes it and I hope you like it too!

Thanks for stopping by,
Be kind to each other

Blog Hop 12 - A Calm Ocean

Wow Love those "Painted Petals" by Louise Sharp! She makes such pretty cards, I must say I am lucky enough to have received an original LOULOU card :)  Yes folks, another INKspired Blog Hop!  Our twelfth even, I think that is pretty amazing.

 Our sketch this week

Just screamed for the new set I acquired from the occasions catalogue "Adventure Awaits"

When I think "Nautical" I always see red, navy & white how about you?
I love the rope background panel too.

Anyway next up is Maree I can't wait to see what she has done this week!

Mmmmmmm, Bacon!

I thought I'd have a go at the Friday Mash Up challenge - farm animals & bling.
 I know right!?
Crazy combo, but oh so much fun.

For a goat, this is pretty cute - yeah?

Anyway my hubby (love you, Babe) was the inspiration for the card I made. I thought it would make a cute (belated) St Valentine's Day card. Here it is...

The caption inside reads
"Perfect together"

I used my "The Greeting Farm - McSpelendid Farm" set. I hadn't used it for years!  I forgot just how cute it was.  I coloured my Bacon & Egg using a combination of both Copic Markers and Stampin' Up!'s Blendabilities.

Keep well and be kind to one another.

A Little Kindness...

Welcome to our tenth blog hop. If you have just arrived here from the gorgeous and talented Louise Sharp then you're in the right spot! If you are starting from here be sure to hop all the way around by clicking the next button at the bottom.

Here is this weeks sketch inspiration:

My card today was inspired by a very thoughtful lady whose random act of kindness (a nice, icy cold bottle of water on a stinking hot day, in the overcrowded, sweaty shop where I work) was very much appreciated!

Let's see what Maree has done this week.  I hope she has added another one of her gorgeous photos to her post!
