Welcome to INKspired Blog Hop #47, our last before Christmas.  

Perfect opportunity to post a Christmas card, right? WRONG! 

Even with this gorgeous sketch (which SCREAMS WREATH – by the way). 

A return customer wants a few cards before the school holidays and I had very limited time on Friday as we went away for the weekend and I couldn’t bring my craft room.  This card was finished in about 10 minutes, the most time-consuming thing was cutting out the flowers. 

Anyway, here is our sketch. (See? – I told you it screams wreath!)

Here is my 6.30 am ten-minute card…

  I used two of the cards from the Hello Lovely Project Life kit 

and just stamped the Thank You in the middle of the ring.

 Easy peasy, fast and furious!  

I wanted to give it some dimension so I used glue dots to raise the flowers up a little.

This weekend my family are staying at my Aunts “holiday house” in Gerroa on NSW South Coast and it is just divine! Here are some photos that my youngest daughter took.

My card is a simple one this week, I kinda ran out of time... 

I am very happy with the results though and I LOVE the Birthday Bouquet paper, It's just gorgeous.

I would have to say the Honeycomb Happiness is my favourite stamp set from sale-a-bration this year!

INKspired Blog Hop 32.  I am way out of my comfort zone here, I don't usually do square cards but I had to make a birthday card for my youngest princess and this sketch was perfect...

I love the large numbers dies and the stamp set that matches it will be a favourite to come I'm sure! The new seasonal catalogue has the cutest paper pack called Birthday Bouquet it is adorable.

 This is a quick and easy card and post! 

I am getting prepared to go to Melbourne for Stampin' Up!'s FIRST On Stage Event!! 

I'm Looking forward to catching up with some of my "once a year" guys and gals!

I had to take this second photo as I didn't think you could see the Sentiment too well.

I used the washi mask again to ink up the "wonderful" on the greeting and then coloured "Happy" & "Christmas" with the stamp'n write marker.

It is a VERY simple and quick card!  Perfect for someone busily multitasking family duties and packing at the same time as well as starting a new job too! Phew!

Blog Hop # 23 - Words of Truth

My card uses both the "Skating By" and the "Words Of Truth" stamp sets.

This guy is so cute! I just love his Razzleberry pants!  Can you see his guitar strings? I used the silver metallic thread to make real strings on his rockin' guitar! Totes adorable!

Are you wondering how I did the splash of Bermuda Bay in the bottom corner?  Well I did that with a technique called "Clear Block Stamping". It is literally just scribbling onto a clear block and just pressing down (or stamping) the ink onto your project! You can see a quick video of this technique <here> it's an easy technique and gives such a great "grungy" look too.

Amazing Birthday - Blog Hop 20

Here is our sketch for this week's challenge

My Card, using Amazing Birthday and Pretty Petals 6x6 paper stack.

I just love the 6x6 paper stacks, they are a great size for a card front and a strip for the inside too.  I, however trimmed 2" off the edge of one of each design and stacked them behind a tag that allows me to clearly see what the "stack" is called and the co-ordinating colours.

Maree McIntosh is next on the list I'm sure she has another gorgeous creation for us!

Teneale Williams creates our sketch challenges each fortnight and this is what we have for number 14! 

One of the teachers at my youngest daughter's school just found out she is pregnant, so I thought I'd make her a congrats card - obviously the gender is unknown at this stage...

I love the little ducky in the "something for Baby" stamp set - he's so cute!

I am a big fan of washi tape and I adore the Washi PAPER in the occasions catalogue (I hope they make this a permanent product line).

I didn't want to cover my ribbon with a white banner so I stamped the "congratulations" directly onto the seam binding ribbon - using "StayzOn".

 Oh! I am brilliant!

I used the Celebrate today Stamp set and the Birthday Bash Specialty Paper the "black" balloons are actually gold, it's kinda like is the dress black & blue or gold & white...

So, as this card is for a special friend, I had to do the inside too.

I just love the "Work of Art" stamp set you can do so much with it.  The only limit is your imagination (& censorship laws ;p)

My other must have item over the last couple of weeks is the spiral border punch. It adds a really cute effect to your cards.
