INKspired Blog Hop #47

Hello stampers! Are you starting here or did you come from Lisa Eaton?
Either is good, just make sure you hop all the way around.

Welcome to INKspired Blog Hop #47, our last before Christmas.
Perfect opportunity to post a Christmas card, right? WRONG!
Even with this gorgeous sketch (which SCREAMS WREATH – by the way).

A return customer wants a few cards before the school holidays and I had very limited time on Friday as we went away for the weekend and I couldn’t bring my craft room.  This card was finished in about 10 minutes, the most time-consuming thing was cutting out the flowers.

Anyway, here is our sketch. (See? – I told you it screams wreath!)

Here is my 6.30 am ten-minute card…
I used two of the cards from the Hello Lovely Project Life kit
and just stamped the Thank You in the middle of the ring.
 Easy peasy, fast and furious!

I wanted to give it some dimension so I used glue dots to raise the flowers up a little.

This weekend my family are staying at my Aunts “holiday house” in Gerroa on NSW South Coast and it is just divine! Here are some photos that my youngest daughter took.

INKspired Blog Hop #46

Hello Stampers!

I hope you have all had a great week!  It's awesome to see Lisa Eaton back for this hop and to "celebrate" her beautiful card this week.

As usual we have a sketch to get us INKspired this week,

I was chatting to a friend the other morning and was inspired by our conversation to use the angel from Wonder of Christmas stamp set.  I also used the sentiment from Greetings from Santa and the matching Detailed Santa Thinlits Dies. I matted my image on gold foil cardstock (just to let a little gold show through the thinlit cutout) and raised it up with Dimensionals, to give it an extra dimension.  To match the hint of gold I used a Wink of Stella brush pen in gold to colour the wings

I love to colour, and watercolouring is such a subtle way to colour.
I need some more practise as my angels hair has "bled" onto her face :(

Make sure you go around the whole hop and check out the rest of the team's creations.

INKspired Blog Hop #45

Did you just come over from Lissa's Blog?  Make sure you "hop" all the way around and leave some love (comments) on each persons blog

Here is our sketch for INKspired #45

I just love it! it lends itself to so many variations!

Well thanks to the Designer Series Paper "Serene Scenery" the line in the sketch is represented by the colour change on the designer series paper (dsp) that I chose this week.  To me it looks like a beach, a serene setting.
The recipient of this card received some terrible news recently and I thought this would maybe put a smile on their face and let them know I'm thinking of them and if they need me I'm there xx.

I have a few challenges and projects coming up so I will try to blog them for you :)
Well until next time, it's onto Renee Lynch .

INKspired #43

Wow! welcome to blog hop #43.
It sure feels good to  be back in the crafting world again.  It certainly has been a while, and there are some big changes! New faces have come and some have left us but I'm positive that the quality will be just as good, if not better, than ever!
You may have arrived here from Lisa Eaton's page or you may be starting here, either way please hop all the way around and check out the amazing talent of the INKspired Artists!

As you may remember (I know, it's been around 8 months) Teneale puts together a sketch each fortnight and we interpret the sketches and come up with an original, one of a kind masterpiece.  All different but based on the same sketch just like the one below

Well I hope you enjoy my quick and easy card. Don't forget Christmas is rapidly approaching!

Just Add Ink #332

Welcome back you say? Yes, I know its been a while but I was challenged to do this colour challenge, so I made the card and then I thought, "What the hay? I'll blog as well!" I know, right!?

Anyway Just Add Ink have a colour challenge

Yes, the colours are "challenging" together - great for Halloween but we don't really "do" Halloween in Australia.  The next best thing is FLOWERS! Pink and orange flowers with yellow centres and bits of black for good luck.

Thanks for stopping by

INKspired #35 With Sympathy

Are you starting here or have you come from our wonderful leader, Teneale Williams? Doesn't really matter, just be sure to hop all the way around.

This card was not actually intended for the INKspired blog hop. I had agonised over what I was going to put on top of the designer series paper, a butterfly, a flower, a heart etc but then I looked at it again and it matched our sketch (if a little off centre) then I realised the only thing i needed to put on it was a wink (of Stella - of course)

My card clean and simple

I really like this card which is probably not the best thing to say as it's a Sympathy card but I am very happy with the overall outcome.

Make sure you head over to Aunt (Narelle Macey) Nelly's blog too

INKspired #34 - Wish Big

Yes another two weeks have passed us by and it's time to be hopping around the INKspired Artists Blog Hop number 34!  Before me on the hop is Lisa Eaton. If you didn't come from there then you can certainly get to her by going all the way around or back to her by clicking on her name.

As always we get a sketch that we each interpret in our own way.
This is my interpretation of the sketch
