INKspired Sketch Blog Hop 1

Welcome to our FIRST INKspired Artists Blog Hop!  You should have just left blog # 7 – Louise Sharp. If so, you are in the right spot.  We are excited to share our creations and hopefully INKspire you to create your own masterpieces. Remember, as you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog! We are always excited to receive comments from our followers! So, grab yourself a cuppa and a bickie (or a glass of wine and some cheese) and enjoy!

                                                                  This is our sketch

Here is my creation…

I do like the Blended Bloom Flower but I had to "go at it" with my Project Life journaling pens to give it some dimension. Because I was originally going to do this card in Black & White, I heat embossed the image in white on my black pennant to go under my main flower but it looked a bit too much, so I added a pop of colour using the lightest of the three yellow Blendabilities Markers just at the base of each petal and then blended it outward using the Colour Lifter.  Then I changed my mat from Whisper White to Very Vanilla with So Saffron sponging. I think its just that bit more subtle than the in your face-ness of the black & white.

Maree McIntosh is your next stop but if you get lost along the way, or a link doesn't work, it doesn’t matter because you will find the full blog hop line up in my side bar.

Keep Stampin'
Marlene xx
