Core'dination Christmas With the Players

I haven't done a challenge from The Paper Players for a while.  I saw this sketch and knew instantly that I had to make a Christmas Card with my "new" Core'dinations Card stock - actually I think ANY challenge would have meant Core'dination Christmas!

For my Paper Players PP119 I used an embossing folder that's not Stampin' Up! but it IS Sizzix brand... I thought it went well with the patterned paper flag

(Trick or) Treats Galore!

Week four is photo inspiration at Just Us Girls. This week's pretty picture is from Lisa.
I am usually not an "orange" person but I'm getting there thanks to my Tangerine Tango!

My Simply Wonderful Stippled Blossom card in orange, green and brown

And some Halloween jelly bean bags I made for the local trick or treaters. Any left overs will be "donated" to my girls' classes on Thursday. (I made about 90 treats - almost 2kg of Jelly Beans - so there WILL be left overs!)

I just adore the Goulish Googlies Designer Kit and the Googly Ghouls stamp set also! They are just too cute!

Snowflake Season ?

The only snow we get in Australia at Christmas time is from the local 7/11!  I do like this Simply Scrappin' Layout though! It has all you need to make a quick, EASY and gorgeous 2 page Christmas layout (apart from your actual photos - and adhesive).  You can find it in the Holiday Seasonal (Mini) catalogue on page 21 and it is only $16.95! (code 126921)
Contact me today to get your own kit!

Each kit contains

Everything to create a fabulous holiday scrapbook two-page

spread. Instructions included. Copy the layout or personalise.

2 sheets single-sided designer printed Crumb Cake paper;

12"x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm)

• 1.5 m Vanilla 1/2" (1.3 cm) Satin Ribbon
• 5 laser-cut Silver Glimmer Paper snowflakes
• 45.7 cm Cherry Cobbler/Whisper White Baker’s Twine

Ships In The Night

Hello again! As I mentioned in my post earlier today, I made my Challenge Schedule (to remind me of cut off days for links) so the link for CASology ends on Sunday (AEDST) which means... I'M EARLY!!!  This is my first entry for CASology and I think I will enjoy their challenge as Clean and Simple is a challenge for me! I like my layers and embellishments but I also like a challenge!

Apart from the card base I used a piece of concord crush (ret), a scrap of vanilla cardstock, some white craft ink and a stylus! (A little bit of sponging around the moon).  I'm very happy with the end result!

A little birdie told me...

Well, after just now typing in the post heading, I have got the best idea for the sentiment to go on my card.  I have a MFT stamp set with "a little birdie told me" so I'm going to find it and stamp it on. (maybe)  Anyway, JUGS #158. Technique challenge emboss resist. Love it! AND I didn't miss the linky!

Again, Betsy's Blossoms, sure am getting my moneys worth from this set, let me tell you! and to think I wasn't even going to get this one. When I saw it the first time in the catalogue i though, "Oh my, that's NOT the best looking set".  How wrong was I!!?? I'm lovin it!

I did up my schedule of Challenge cut offs and I discovered I have a challenge for every day of the week!  Don't think that I will complete EVERY challenge EVERY week though, but let's give it a try...

Mojo 262

My Mojo is back?  This week I went for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #262
I went for a Halloween Theme with Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive but missed the Dynamic Duo cut off...  *Note to self, get a weekly schedule and list the cut off times for each of the Challenges I like to participate in. (Now there's a challenge in itself!)

My Halloween Card

I think the sentiment is cute for this card because, sunshine is not really something you assosciate with Halloween, although I think a little vampire would have been cute instead of the witch.

I have nearly finished organising my "Stampin' Studio" YAY!  When I have done that, I will be offering card making sessions and a "Card Club" Contact me for more details because I know you ARE interested!

Jugs 157

This weeks JUGs 157 sketch challenge designed by Andrea Matthews

I decided to go Christmassy for this one. Love this sketch it's so versatile.
Although, I think it could do with a few more layers!

I think my new favourite colour could well be Primrose Petals...

T 4 2

This Weeks Just Us Girls Challenge #156 is (apart from posting before the linky closes *o* ) is to include numbers on your card.
My only thoughts were,
 "Tea for two".
On my card, the die cut numbers (& letter) are coated in Crystal Accents to make them glossy, I had thought about making the cups glossy too, but then decided against it...
I'm loving the pink and grey scheme -
it looks black in the photo but it is grey.

Triple Stippled Birthday

Happy Birthday "C" we all hope your day was special. xx

This card is an idea CaSE'd from Mercedes Weber
I have added my own touches. As this was for a special birthday I did it in the Birthday Girls favourite colour, blue (Baja Breeze & Island Indigo)
This is the first time I had tried the "triple time" stamping technique. It looks hard, but for me the hardest part was converting ~ and adapting ~ measurements from inches to centimetres. I do love this card and I know for sure that Stippled Blossoms will be a  new favourite (or rather, one of many)!

Inside

I Just HAD to put my ornament on too! I have made a variation of this using green and purple. Its cute and sparkly! I will experiment with other colours and shape combinations too.

Exciting News!
October is "Spool Time" for every $60.00 you spend (less Shipping) you can earn a FREE Spool of Stitched Satin Ribbon. That's a FULL ROLL (9.1m) FOR FREE (value $15.95)! Your choice of colour or you can earn all five colours! Ask me how!
